Google Business Profile management Customer photographing a latte on a phone for busy local businesses

You know your Business Profile matters. You also know the last post on it is from a while ago, the holiday hours were never updated, and the photos show a storefront from three years back. Google Business Profile management is the monthly upkeep that keeps your profile current and active, so customers who find you on Google see a business that is clearly open, busy and worth calling.

We offer it as a $100 a month service on its own, and it is included in the Growth and Pro tiers of our local SEO packages. If your profile has never been reviewed properly, start with a Google Business Profile audit so management builds on a clean base.

Not set and forget

Why a Business Profile needs ongoing management

A Business Profile is not a set-and-forget listing. Customers, Google and even other users can change what appears on it, and a profile that looks abandoned loses calls to one that looks active.

(01)

Information drifts

Hours change, services are added, phone numbers move. Out-of-date details lead to missed calls and bad reviews.

(02)

Other people can suggest edits

Google accepts suggested changes from the public, and sometimes applies them without the owner noticing.

(03)

Customers compare profiles side by side

On the map, your profile sits next to two competitors. Recent posts and photos are part of how people choose.

(04)

AI answers draw on it

Google has started answering questions about businesses on Maps with AI, using the content of the profile itself, such as the description, photos and reviews. A complete, current profile gives it accurate material to work with.

For $100 a month

What is included every month

Management covers the regular work that keeps your profile accurate and active. Here is exactly what you get for $100 a month.

4

Business Profile posts

One post a week on average: offers, recent jobs, seasonal reminders, new services or updates. Written for your customers, published to your profile.

Profile upkeep

Keeping hours, special and holiday hours, services, description and attributes current as your business changes.

Edit monitoring

Checking for changes suggested by the public or applied by Google, and correcting anything inaccurate.

Monthly report

A list of every post published that month, with links, plus your profile’s calls, website clicks and direction requests.

Posts worth reading

What makes a good Business Profile post

Four posts a month only help if they are worth reading. We plan posts around what your customers actually care about at that time of year, not generic filler.

Real work, real places

A finished kitchen in Coquitlam or a furnace replaced in Surrey tells a customer more than a stock photo with a slogan.

Seasonal timing

Furnace checks before the first cold snap, gutter cleaning in the fall rains, patio season for restaurants.

One clear action

Each post points to one thing: call, book, view the offer, or visit a specific service page on your website.

Plain, accurate claims

No promises you cannot keep and nothing that breaks Google’s content rules.

We will ask you for photos of your recent work, because real photos perform better than anything we could create. Posts are sent to you for approval before they go live.

Start clean

Business Profile setup: $150 one time

If you do not have a profile yet, or the one you have is a mess, we can set it up or clean it up before management starts. Setup is a one-time $150.

(1)

Create or claim the profile

and make sure you are the primary owner.

(2)

Choose the right categories

and add your services.

(3)

Set your address or service areas

correctly for your type of business.

(4)

Complete every section

Description, hours, attributes, photos and contact details.

(5)

Start verification with Google

The verification step itself is handled by Google and its timing is out of our control.

Standalone management or a full SEO plan?

Management on its own keeps your profile healthy. It does not cover the website and off-page work that also decide how high you appear on the map. This table shows the difference.

You stay the owner of your profile

Your Business Profile belongs to you, and we keep it that way. We work as a manager on your profile, never as the primary owner. You can see everything we do and remove our access at any time. If you stop the service, the profile, its reviews, photos and posts all stay with you.

Is the guarantee included?

Standalone Business Profile setup and management are not covered by the Rata Promise. The guarantee applies to our monthly SEO plans, where it covers every listed deliverable, a risk-free first 30 days and a 90-day progress check. When management is part of a Growth or Pro plan, it is covered along with the rest of the plan.
